Traveler Reviews

You can’t visit Canada - Québec without tasting some greatest wines here they have the best quality and this tour shows you the best part of your visit don’t miss it

We knew when we booked this that there was not a meal included. However, when we read “snacks,” we thought that there would be something more substantial (crackers, nuts, baguettes, etc.) than what was offered. The first place had yummy smoked meats and cheese, but very thin slivers. The second place had 2 tiny “breadsticks” (the dry, thin kind.) This is fine, but it should be made more clear in the advertising. The bottom line- eat well beforehand.

This felt like anything but a small group tour. With over twenty guests all with different personalities any feeling of intimacy is impossible. Ken was our guide. At the first winery Coteau Rougemont (half-day tour), the winery representative insulted the state my partner and I came from as "a place where New York sends their criminals", had us all stand in front of the winery doors without showing us around the fields, and couldn't answer direct questions about how many trees had been planted in sections of the winery and other basic questions. When we came inside for the tasting there was nowhere to sit. As we stood being told about the wines, multiple wines were described as coming from a bad vintage year and not as good as what previous years had yielded. Then why serve them to us?! They were talking down their own products and dissuading us from even trying them. Most of the wines we found sour and unappetizing but that is our own opinion. We were invited to take photos out the ba

I really want to give Kava tours 5 stars, but our 9 hour tour ended up lasting almost 11 and a half hours causing us to miss our dinner reservation. Ken, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. However, he has some time management issues. The vineyards were beautiful and each vintner was outstanding explaining their particular process. I would absolutely recommend the tour, but I would caution you to avoid evening plans.

Sabin made the half-day wine tour and interesting and informative afternoon. Guided wine tour operators usually have a thorough knowledge of area the which adds to the day. The choice of the two wineries was perfect. We met many nice people on the bus. Never feeling rushed , it was definitely a tour to be recommended. Notes : make sure to have lunch or bring food for the bus - also water.
