When reserving we were asked to note our preferred language for the audio portion of the tour (via headphones); however we never received headphones and there was no audio. The views were beautiful but we had no idea what we were looking at unfortunately.

They do not limit the number of tickets sold for the tour. Our boat on Sunday was very overcrowded with unhappy people not having enough sits and having to stand by the railings and blocking the view of others who managed to get seats. Their free audio guide that they heavily advertise is an app that you have to download and listen with your own headphones. As no one takes headphones for a boat tour, no one in our overcrowded bot listened to the commentary. Do not recommend to take this Saphir tour on a nice sunny day.

It’s been really awesome. Great views, not too short, bot too long, they accept half-price cards from Zürich for a discount. One gets amazing views to 4 cantons. Totally worth it.

The sightseeing cruise on Lake Lucerne is a nice one. The Lake and surroundings are beautiful. Our boat was clean, on time and well tended. What was missing was any narrative regarding the tour. We did bring headphones in anticipation of a "guided" tour. That didn't happen. Unless we missed something (and we were looking for it) there is no guide, no directions and not even a map. No one on board appeared to be listening to an audio So, it's pretty but don't expect to learn anything about the Lake or the towns. Also beware of many children running about. An elderly gentleman almost took a tumble when a young boy knocked into him.
