Absolutely loved the tour would highly recommend tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very fun

We arrived early, but no pirate, so we called to make sure we were at w correct spot. Yes, and our pirate was on the way. Shortly after the appointed hour our pirate showed. A problem in scheduling. Ok. On with the tour. Since we were the only ones there, we had a pretty much private tour, and we learned a a great deal about the pirates of the area, the Lafitte brothers in particular! All in all a totally immersed vision of life in the area at that time. The only problem was the start with no pirate, but that was immediately corrected and we went off without a hitch.We definitely would recommend anyone taking this tour! You will learn a lot, and by fun in the process!

The tour was quite different to other tours. Nice little tour to spend time. Tour guide was funny and gives very good details.

This tour was great. We learned so much about Jean and Pierre LaFitte and how they started as well educated merchants who knew multiple different languages to pivoting to bring many pirates who spoke a multitude of languages together and ended up heading one the largest smuggling rings of goods. We learned how they came to team with Andrew Jackson and help us win the battle at Chalmette thus securing New Orleans and cementing America yet again as a free nation defeating England for the second time. We learned what the pirates were really like not what Hollywood has depicted them as. It was a very informative and fun tour and we would definitely recommend it and participate again if ever back in New Orleans

We had a great tour with the quartermaster. We learned so much about the history of the pirates in the area as well as the buildings and places they frequented. Our guide did a great job mixing in humor and keeping it lively. Would recommend this trip to anyone who likes pirates and even someone who doesn’t. There are lots of stops and breaks so don’t let that deter you.
