Everything is well done. From the clean toilets and departure arrangements to the video on the coach to the chatty guide to the marvel of Hobbiton and the relaxing brew at the Green Dragon Inn at the end of the tour. The gardens are a marvel, so pretty and full of bees, butterflies, birds. The houses are detailed and colourful. It is a magical world and it was wonderful to visit it.

Pour les fans du Seigneurs de Anneaux c'est évidemment incontournable ! C'est un endroit féerique, tout est bien organisé. Nous avions pris en supplément le "Tour and Lunch" comprenant le repas de midi dans la taverne des hobbits. Tout simplement GENIAL.

Endroit propre et bien tenu. On se croirait dans un autre monde. Le personnel prend bien soin de chaque détail ! C’est très organisé. Les entrées sont un peu chère mais pour deux heures de visite, on en a pour son argent. Pour les amoureux de la trilogie c’est le top !

Since I was a huge fan of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, my wife and I had to visit the Hobbiton Movie Set. We were absolutely amazed at the hobbit holes, the lake, the bridge, Bag End, and the Green Dragon Inn! We were also awe-struck by the green rolling hills, the trees, the bushes and the props of the Movie Set. Our tour guides were friendly, approachable and helpful. The free pint of Southfarthing Dark Ale at the Green Dragon Inn ended the tour quite nicely. The gift shop offered all sorts of LOTR and The Hobbit-based souvenirs. Hobbiton is a beautiful place and a must-see when visiting New Zealand.
