Traveler Reviews

This tour was a great day. Not only do you get an I -depth look at the Tequila making process, but you also get some free time to n the town of Tequila and you get to experience a local tequila cocktail on your way home. My tour guide was awesome. She spoke excellent English, was passionate and knows all about the Tequila process and was Fun to spend the day with. In addition, the tour vehicle had cold water and snacks to keep you refreshed throughout the day. Th tour started by getting picked up right at your hotel. We then drove to an agave field where we stopped and actually walked through the field. Then we drove to the Yres Mujares tequileria where we were shown how they make their tequila. They take you into their cave and you get to taste their tequila. It was fascinating to see how tequila is made manually. Then we drove to the Herradura Tequila Erica. This was a fascinating tour as they are a large production factory. We got to see how they shave the pina before baking and we

A small intimate group of 6 touring one big tequila production farm (felt like a VIP in this small group) and a small family owned one (love the owner, Tony). Free time around small tequila town for lunch of my choice.
Perfect for people who are not into party-train setting, and being herded around among +50 people.

Loved ths tour! Our tour guide Fernanda was great! super friendly and very knowledgable on both the tour and the city's life. We wewnt to 2 different distileries, a family owned one where we got to experience up close and personal with the people that make it and their stories, they make you feel very 'at home' and then we went to a big corporate distilery, Casa Herradura, which was more formal i guesss you can say. none the less both were very different but still great and learedn a lot. Def reccomend this tour! went with my mom and Aunt and we loved it!

A private and an intimate tour of 6 visiting one big tequila production (fell like a VIP with just the 6 of us tasting tequila in a small private room) and a small family owed one (love the owner Tony and his exquisite anejo). And in between, we got to have lunch of our choice at the tequila town. And our tour guide Fernanda was wonderful. We did not feel at all being rushed throughout our entire trip. Highly recommended.
