This guided walking tour will take you to the imposing Prague Castle atop Hradcany Hill through the Royal Garden and over the Stag Moat. See the ancient buildings, that have been constructed and reconstructed in every architectural style, incorporating Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, Rococo, Renaissance, and Neoclassical monuments. Vadim was an absolute delight! We took two half-day tours with Vadim, including the walking tour of New Town and Old Town as well as the Prague Castle tour with a behind-the-scenes private peek into the Strahov Monastery Library!! We were blown away by how enthusiastic, engaging, and knowledgeable Vadim was--he even tailored the information about Prague to suit our American backgrounds, putting Prague's history and culture in context with the history and events occurring in America at the same time. For example, roughly during the time Mozart was composing music, the Declaration of Independence was being written across the pond! And when we walk through downtown Seattle now, we always think of Prague's Dancing House, whose architect is the same one who designed Seattle's colorful EMP! What a way to experience a city for the first time!
Not only did we love the time we spent with Vadim, but when we parted ways after both tours, he always gave us the perfect recommendations for what to

Vadim brought so much information to this tour with such a friendly, compelling style. There wasn't a question that we had that he couldn't answer. We got to know Prague Castle and its neighborhood in a vivid, fun way. As archeologists, we also came to this tour with a good deal of specialized knowledge of our own and we appreciated how Vadim made room for real discussion. This is definitely a tour for those who want to go beyond the superficial and who want a cozy, small tour group.

Great tour with one of the most knowledgeable guides I have ever used. They also were very helpful in altering the tour to meet our interests and input. They also provided us with additional recommendations based on our interests including shopping, museums, restaurants and other sites. Highly recommend this tour company especially when you want to be educated while seeing the sights.

You do not want to miss out on this tour, or any that Insight Cities, Prague provides. This was the introductory tour that my husband and I took on a honeymoon trip to Prague, CZ. It was well, organized, the tour leader was professional and knowledgeable. She met us exactly where planned and was waiting for us to share her insights into her beautiful City. I can not give better praise or recommendation, than to sign yourself up for this experience!

My wife and I had never been to Prague and what a wonderful choice we made in booking a tour with Vadim at Insight Cities! We were joined by another couple, and Vadim was just superb. He asked what particular things we might be interested in within the context of the Castle tour; inquired a bit as to each person's background; and then led us on a magical 3 hours through the Castle!
Vadim was of course extremely knowledgeable, more importantly he was attuned to making the experience for all four of us as rich and enjoyable as possible. His english was perfect, his sense of humor appropriate and enjoyable.
We took a shot and booked him; you should too, you will NEVER regret making this choice!
