Beautiful city!! Especially enjoyed Szuza's, our tour guide, insight into the history because she is a native of Hungary. She was very accommodating to our small group and willing to stop when we needed a rest. Highly recommend Insight Cities !!

With Bálint we‘ve had a wonderful tour guide, who was very knowledgable and well prepared. The tour was even adapted to the current situation with the covid19 restrictions and for buildings which were not open, he brought photos of the interieur. We heard some amazing stories behind the buildings and what motivated the respective designs. Our guide was also able to answer questions about other buildings which were not part of the tour. All in all we‘ve had a very pleasant time. We can highly recommend this tour for every one who’s interested in learning more about art nouveau architecture and architecture of Budapest in general.

I had approached Insight Cities for tours of 3 major art nouveau cities in Central Europe: Prague, Budapest and Vienna, and I wasn’t disappointed! In each of these places, Insight’s local guides were academics who both from their academic background as well as from their personal knowledge of living in the city were able to give excellent tours. With Eszter’s background in Jewish and Nationalism Studies she was able to show me some wonderful synagogues as well as a series of beautiful art nouveau gems.

Such an amazing way to see Budapest. University-level academic discussions along a walking tour that featured sites you could smell, touch and feel! Loved every minute.
