Its long, rectangular courtyard is surrounded on three sides by two-level display halls. The 12 ground-floor salas (halls) are dedicated to pre-Hispanic Mexico, while upper-level salas show how Mexico’s indigenous descendants live today, with the contemporary cultures located directly above their ancestral civilizations. The vast museum offers more than most people can absorb in a single visit.Duration: 2 hoursPass By: Angel De La Independencia, Paseo de la Reforma, Mexico City MexicoLovingly called El Ángel, the independence monument on Reforma Avenue in Mexico City is an unmistakeable symbol of Mexico’s capital. Golden and glorious, the winged statue of victory hovers above the traffic, chaos, protests, and tourists that pass beneath her feet each day.Pass By: Monumento y Museo de la Revolucion, Plaza de la Republica, Mexico City 06060 MexicoThe Monument to the Revolution is an architectural work and a mausoleum dedicated to the commemoration of the Mexican Revolution. It is the work of the architect Carlos Obregón Santacilia, who took the structure of the Sala de los Pasos Perdidos from the ill-fated Federal Legislative Palace of the French architect Émile Bénard to build the monument, completed in 1938. Currently it is one of the most symbolic in Mexico City , and is part of a complex made up of the monument itself, the Plaza de la República and the National Museum of the Revolution. It is located in the Colonia Tabacalera of the Cuauhtémoc mayor's office, near the Historic Center of Mexico City.Stop At: Alameda, Alameda, Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf CoastThe Alameda Central is the grand city park of Mexico City. Duration: 30 minutesStop At: Museo del Templo Mayor, Seminario 8 Centro Histórico, Mexico City 06060 MexicoBuilt from an islet in the center of the lake, Mexico City grew with a network of canals and artificial islands, and the Templo Mayor took shape.

Very interesting tour! Our tour guide Jorge was funny, down-to-earth, very learned and able to explain artifacts and history in detail and in practical sense. We enjoyed Jorge’s company and our driver Hector was very accommodating and helpful too. They both recommended some of the best Mexican food in the city. They’re both entertaining! Love it! Highly recommended tour! This tour is a must!

Jorge provided impeccable service to us during our day together. As soon as I made the booking, Jorge reached out via What'sApp to firm up the details and get a sense of our priorities. He offered to make reservations for us, sent over some suggestions for other parts of our trip and then provided details for our pick up. Jorge was right on time for the pick up. We were able to do an incredible amount in one day -- from the Anthropology museum, viewing Diego Rivera's most famous murals, to the ruins in the city. Since we didn't have time to fit in the castle, he offered to take us the castle on another day for free. So we met him there on Sunday (and of course provided a tip). He was over the top nice, accommodating and fun. Great job, Jorge!
