Traveler Reviews

As a coffee lover I could not be happier with my tour with Emanuel who is extremely knowledgeable about the region. It was a wonderful day and the coffee is spectacular.

A must do! Alberto our guide is certified and biologist by background. He is very proud to explain the biodiversity of Huatulco and how this world class gourmet coffee comes to be. And he is supporting the local people by bringing you to Doña Alfonsina who plants, grows, picks, and roasts this coffee. Unlike any other experience. The Sierra Madre setting is unbelievable and the coffee out of this world. So happy to have met these people and see a glimpse into their artesanal work and passions. The breakfast option after the coffee plantation tour was also stellar! Muchas gracias!!!!

My wife and I had a great, exciting, educational experience today. Hugo was our guide on Tuesday for just a local tour and we requested him for the coffee plantation tour. He was outstanding. By far the best day on our vacation. He was spot on with information and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The roads to me were a bit nerve racking, but Hugo was very cautious along the mountain. During rain no doubt. Thank You Hugo for our memorable trip.

Wonderfully informative and welcoming. Alberto is an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate guide. This is real grass roots ecotourism. We will be back.

Alberto took us to the mountains of Huatulco to learn about small scale coffee and vanilla cultivation and the process to produce the final product we get at the stores. We learned a lot about the biodiversity of the area and enjoyed the beautiful views from the top of these mountains. At the end we stop and had a traditional Oaxacan lunch. I highly recommend it.
