Overview
Experience Teotihuacan Pyramids from the sky!! Be part of a magical and colorful hot air balloon adventure. We will pick you up at your hotel in Mexico City around 6:00 am for a 1 hour drive to Teotihuacan. At sunrise we will prepare and inflate the hot-air balloon with the rest of your group (6-10 people) and as soon as it leaves the ground it's an unforgettable experience. Feel the excitement of admiring the Sun and Moon temples from 2000 feet above the ground and admire the beautiful green valley, volcanoes and mountains during the flight.After landing, receive your certificate and celebrate with a glass of champagne to give thanks to the wind, fire, water and mother earth for allowing us to have this experience. On Saturdays and Sundays, enjoy an included buffet breakfast. Then we will drop you off at the Teotihuacan pyramids around 9:30 am so you can walk at your own pace and admire them from the bottom as well (entrance is not included, it costs around 57 pesos p/person). You will have the opportunity to hire a guide if you wish once you are there as well. We will pick you up around 1:00 pm and bring you back to Mexico City!!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable morning in the hot air balloon. Everything was as-advertised. Good communication, prompt pick up from our hotel, clean van ride to / from the ruins, and what seemed like a well-run operation. Seeming experienced hot air balloon captain & crew. We felt safe the entire time, and was a great way to see the ruins in advance of visiting them on foot.

The balloon ride was awesome! You get a bird's-eye view of how expansive the site really is. Afterwards, you have 3 hours to tour the site on your own or with a tour guide.

A few days before I found out that they don't pick up at AirBnbs. They did find a hotel close by that they could pick up from. I don't understand what 1/4 mile makes. However walking in the dark at 4:00 am in the morning is not ideal.
That said, the Balloon ride was terrific. Great weather and pilot made it to the pyramids and held position well and also directed balloon the entire 8K area.
Other balloons from other companies did not come close, and landed in some not great areas.
Champagne (fizzy wine) landing, and back to have a good breakfast.
They will then take you to the gate of the complex for 3 hours to view. Pay your own entry.
I would suggest rather get a guide for 780 pesos which includes well guided tour with entrance fees to pyramids, caves, and community area. There is no way you could do this yourself in 3 hours without a quide and get an terrific experience

My partner and i were just married and had the most amazing time!! Our balloon pilot was awesome and all of the staff were so fun and helpful! The breakfast after was also really great!

Excellent experience. Everybody was very skillful and the ride was amazing.
The only thing I would say is that they shouldn’t sell full day experiences when they are going to cancel half the trip because COVID causes the pyramids to be closed for tours. Our full day turned into a half day.
