Traveler Reviews

We just returned from Lahaina and this was a highlight for us! Our first trip to Hawaii and my birthday weekend so I had no idea what to expect. I love going out on boats but knew it was very early in the season so just had my fingers crossed we might see something - and we did! Not the spectacular breaches that many have written about (a little too early in the season) but a beautiful momma and calf along with a male escort. What we did see was high spouts, the calf on the surface, mom and male side-by-side, and several double tail dive action. Hanna and John were our crew and so fun, full of facts and happy to answer our questions. It feels like they still get excited when they see them as well:) It was relaxing, fun and would be a great family excursion too! There were guests of all ages, from kiddo's to seniors - I'd love to take my kids & grandkids next time! Thanks for a great start to my birthday trip!

Guides were nice, views were beautiful, and we saw a few whales and dolphins. Whole thing was quite affordable as well, would recommend.

It is unlike any other whale watch in Northeast or California. We see whale breach out of water. Once in a lifetime experiences.

This was an OK experience, but there were several factors that I wish we were made aware of before we booked. 1. This is a barefoot boat trip. Neither my Wife or I were aware of this or prepared to take off our shoes and socks and leave them in unlocked cubby holes at the slip. I seriously hope we don’t get some form of athletes foot from this experience. 2. This one almost made me not get on the boat. They oversell the trip by 6 passengers more then they have seats. The last 6 people to get on the boat get to hang off the edge of the bow clinging to two skimpy ropes and hope they don’t go overboard. This is also EXTREMELY uncomfortable. My Wife and I have bad backs and arthritis, and our bodies from shoulders to buttocks were on FIRE after this trip. Call me crazy, but when I buy a ticket on a boat ride, I expect a seat. 3. This is the real kicker; the reason we booked this ride is because we have taken other whale watches in Maui on larger boats and felt we didn’t get close enough to

Awesome experience! Emma and Pat made it even better with their knowledge and banter. We had a lot of fun and got to see a mother and new baby calf as well as another whale shown in pic who was having fun playing around in spite of it not quite being whale season yet. Thankfully no one told the whales. Highly recommend.
