Traveler Reviews

San Miguel & Guanajuato were good places to visit - nice vibe, good food, friendly locals. The sites were nothing extraordinary, but our tour guide Daniel did a great job explaining the history of both cities and was very knowledgeable and truthful. The only thing I didn't like was that Viator did not tell us we needed to pay for parking & admission ticket for the guide to museums. (It does mention we need to pay for our own lunch/admissions tickets) THis is why I took off 1 star.

Fairytale town, with beautiful architecture. This town has lots of foreigners living there due to its beautiful tranquil life style.

new favorite close to home travel. I loved it down there. A true artist and musical community. I felt safe and happy. A true artist and music community. I felt at home care good food. Had great haircuts and incredible entertainment.

The most beautiful picturesque city!! I love it !! Many musical shows. Tons of Art .....great restaurants.

Our trip to San Miguel de Allende reminded us of travelling in small villages in Europe with narrow cobblestone streets and sidewalks. The people are charming and polite. Very little English spoken by locals. The cathedral and El Jardin make are the epicentre of the town. Lots to do—great daily exploration of the town, beautiful churches and great restaurants. There are numerous concerts, theatre and cultural activities. When you get into elevated areas, the views are extraordinary.
