Taka and Keiko are wonderful hosts. They are friendly, inquisitive, welcoming and full of information. Our noodle making experience was delightful and a little unexpected with a fun surprise. All food was delicious. I learned a lot and can’t wait to make the recipes at home.
Thank you for such a great experience
Me and my wife went to japan for our honeymoon and this was one of the highliths of the trip, Taka-San and Keiko-San made us feel so welcome and confortable in their home, shearing with us the history of their culture and stories. Learning from cooking to having a Macha ritual everything was fantastic. Cant recommends enough, is a must done if you visiting japan. Thank you again for such an amazing time. Juan and chiara. This has to be the first thing you book for your visit to Tokyo. My day with Taka-san and Keiko-san was unforgettable. I am proud to now be part of Team Taka, to be their first South African guest and to have my photo on their growing wall of visitors. You will learn so much about true Japanese culture in their home. I went solo, but it's a family-friendly experience and Taka and Keiko love children so you can take children. I highly recommend the Homecoming Taka experience. It's the best one in Tokyo. Don't hesitate. Don't miss it. Thank you Taka-san and Keiko-san. It was an honour to learn so much from you and I enjoyed every minute!
Myself and 3 friends wanted to visit a Japanese home and learn more about their culture and how they live and eat - and were pleasantly surprised we got much more than that! From dancing making udon noodles to drinking sake and learning about Japanese traditions - we can now proudly say we have 2 great friends in Japan in Taka and Keiko. Already talks of inviting them to any of our future Australian weddings... Good times, thanks!
