It is the island's lone accessible sea cave. The cave stands six feet above the high water mark although it was formed at sea level. This has occurred because Barbados is rising at 1 inch per 1000 years.There are coral steps that lead down through an opening in the roof (former blowhole) into the cave. Inside the cave, still found are some sea anemones, which are locally called animal flowers, whence the cave obtained its name. Entrance to the cave is not included in the tour.Duration: 20 minutes

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This company was absolutely amazing, and our driver was professional, timely, and patient with us. He shared a lot of knowledge about Barbados during our tour, and was extremely helpful coordinating our rides the entire duration of our trip, even going through extra mile to make sure we got to our covid test on time! I would absolutely book them again without hesitation!

Booked the private tour your company, I was contacted by someone via email and wanted to schedule the tour time earlier in the day which we were fine with. Driver was late for the agreed pick up time, got worse from there. The driver didn't really want to do the tour. First we asked for recommendations on places to see. He really didn't have any suggestions so pulling up the map online I requested a specific beach on the opposite side of the island and was told by the tour operator/driver that the road was closed and could not see that side of the island. It seemed like he really did not want to honor any of my requests. The conclusion of our tour he hit rush hour traffic any was really agitated and went over the four hours that was already paid and insisted we owed for the fifteen minutes we basically sat in traffic. If I would have to rate your company based upon this experience I would probably not book through Viator for future vacation excursions:(

We were smart to hire this private tour. Having lived on the island for many years, our guide knew just how to help us escape from the cruise crowds and she tailored our trip to see some of the finest views on the island. The historical and cultural information she provided was enlightening and entertaining. Good luck to your team at Carnival in Feb....I'm confident you will be the shining star!
