Rather than take the standard cruise ship-offered tour, we walked off the Viking ship and ran right into Michael and his beautiful Mercedes car. He explained the tour he could give us, and it sounded good, so we got in. First a tour of the ancient city, some photographs of the entrance to the harbor, and then up to the high point and some temple ruins. Next we went down to the north side of the island and the rocky sea shore, and from there to Lyndos, stopping at The Olive Factory for some local olive oil and olives. The views of Lyndos and the nearby beach were spectacular, and Michael let us off at the "top" of Lyndos town so we could walk through the town and meet him at the "bottom". we returned to Rodos city where he took us into the walled city and to the hospital museum(, founded during the Crusades by the Knights of the Order of St. John - the Hospitalers. We loved Michael! We would highly recommend the lazy private tour. There were 4 of us coming from Norwegian Jade for the day. Michael met us right by the boat and took us everywhere. It was incredible. We got to see historical beautiful sites, but also local eats and local beautiful beaches. We got to shop. We got a bit of everything. Every beautiful sight for pictures. We didn't miss a thing. He made me want to come back just to Rhodes! Take his recommendations for lunch. You will not regret it.

I definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting rhodes for a short time. We were getting out of our cruise ship and about to take a cab to a beach (one we thought was the best on the island) when Michael approached us and offered the private tour, and im so glad he did. He was very knowledgeable and took us to the must see places in the island while chatting about the culture and history of rhodes. The beach club he recommended was amazing, and it definitely gave us a perfect day in Greece with amazing food, drinks, music and ambiance. After some hours enjoying the beach, Michael picked us up and drove us to the port in perfect time to get back to the cruise. If im ever back in rhodes i will definitely call him to book another tour.
