Traveler Reviews

I would like to give a special thank you Andy (the tour guide) who was excellent, with a wealth of knowledge and made the tour an enjoyable experience. The tour was my first visit to this iconic stadium with a great history. The museum was first class and the best Football museum I have visited in the UK. I look forward to returning to Hampden Park on a future visit to Glasgow to watch a competitive match.

The tour of the stadium was in depth and very informative, I was lucky in that other booked people didn't arrive so it was just the tour guide and myself. Without giving too much away I want to say that the while experience was absolutely amazing, the timing was perfect aswell I took a 3pm tour in December meaning that when we got to the tunnel and walked out to the pitch the sun was just setting. After the stadium portion was done the tour guide explained to me what was in the museum and where each exhibit was located, I was able to go round the museum at my own pace which was great aswell. I highly recommend anyone do this tour, it's extremely well priced for what you get to do.

Really interesting to see Hampden from behind the scenes. Would maybe have liked to have seen the TV studio and hospitality suites as well as the South Stand dressing rooms and the tunnel etc but understandably access may be restricted. The museum has some fascinating artefacts (from a Hibs fan’s point of view it was interesting to see the original fax agreeing the transfer of George Best!) and it is so easy to lose an hour or two looking at everything. Can’t do this review without mentioning the cafe within Club Hampden - the lady behind the counter gave us some wonderful service (including a free bottle of water, shhh) and the food was excellent! Homemade lentil soup and cheese & chutney sandwich made right there on the spot and only a fiver for the lot!

Very interesting and facts by our tour guide. His banter was brilliant and he interacted well with all of us. The tour and the museum were well worth the visit

Very nice to see inside of Hampden, thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Andy, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole experience. Would definitely do again
