Awesome Day Trip with friends to Matakana Markets, Tawharanui Beach and finished off with some wine tasting. Something for everyone! Highly recommend. ???????

We had a day to kill around Auckland and searching for something reasonably priced, we came across this gem. From start to finish, the trip blew us away! Pick up instructions were a breeze. The team greeted us if they knew us for years and was pretty easy going around timings and making sure we were comfortable the entire day. Didn't feel rushed, markets were amazing and managed to get in a sneaky vino & swim too. Could not recommend a better company to deal with that is very knowledgeable of the area and also made you feel so included within the group.

What a fab day trip to Matakana!!! Absolutely loved it from start to finish! Our first stop was the farmers market, where we enjoyed seeing the local produce and picking up some souvenirs. We had brunch on dock just beside the markets, watching the eels. We were then treated to some real fruit ice-cream before setting off for the winery. The winery was beautiful, with gorgeous gardens and of course Wine!! We sampled a variety of lovely wines. Next up was the beach, where we swam, explored and enjoyed getting to know each other. All in all, it was a great day and looking forward to my next trip with Go Wander!

Long story short, it was absolutely amazing, the age range for these trips are perfect for making friends with a similar buzz for the outdoors and exploring and I would definitely recommend and will be going on future trips! Our first stop was to The Matakana Markets which were awesome, they had lots of homemade arts and crafts that you could purchase that you just can’t find in Central Auckland at all, it was amazing to see so many things still being made by hand. There was also the smell of freshly baked bread, bakery items and food that you could purchase along with a live band playing while we got to sit and eat our lunch by the river (dreamy). Go Wander gave us all free Ice-cream vouchers to use at the local shop (the ice-cream was delish and had real fruit pieces!). We then all hopped back on the bus after spending a few hours there having a look around, the thing I liked about it most is that they recommend places and drop you off at the location and then you're free to roam a

Excellent! I had a great time and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I would absolutely recommend this tour.
