Great performance of Mozart’s Requiem in the amazing baroque St Charles cathedral. Took the balcony seats which were fine - good enough view and good acoustics. Highly recommend you get there early to ensure you get good seats. Also picked up tickets at the church a few hours before as we were there for the Christmas Market. All in all highly recommended. Great concert, authentically and passionately performed by the group. Really enjoyed the atmosphere in the building. Church isnt as intricately decorated as, say, st peters, but a lovely building nevertheless. Make sure you get there early for the inevitable queue.

We did several tours during the three weeks we were in Germany and Austria but this was truly the highlight. We were ages 24 - 61 and all four of us were blown away by the talent of the musicians and the beautiful setting. Definitely spring for the section 1 tickets which are up front and reserved. we sat in the first pew of the church. There was a really cool installation of a modern sculpture hanging from the ceiling which reflected the whole church in its surface. Definitely do this concert but get the great seats. One note the church doesn't have a bathroom available so plan accordingly.
