Our Guide Tia, was animated, punctual, knowledgeable, interactive and funny. Kudos to Taste Vancouver for scoring such a great guide! We had delicious truffle Pasta at Soppra Sotto, and Delicious Margarita Pizza at Famosos Neapolitan Pizzeria and a wonderful Italian sandwich at La Gotta del Formagio and then the best hazelnut Gelato ever at Dolce Amore, a wonderful plate of cheese and fruit and meats at Santa Barbara Deli and finally cappuccinos and Cannolis at Continental coffee and a food coma . . . we were having so much fun we all forgot to take out our phones and document the experience - - - 10 outta 10!!!!
My husband and I went on this tour and it was amazing!! Our tour guide Jewel was so wonderful and very knowledgeable. She had some funny stories and interesting facts about Little Italy.I would highly recommend this tour! The food is great and you get large portions that keep you full! Will do this again!
Brent made the food tour informative and enjoyable! Highly recommend for friends, couples and families.
It's always fun playing tourist in my own town. While I was familiar with some of the stops, I learned about some new restaurants too. Jewel was a great tour director and took good care of us.
Just got home from the Little Italy walking food tour. Our guide, Brent, did a spectacular job. He kept the tour moving, was very clear about the information, and even did some food substitutions when needed. The four savoury food stops were all quite delicious but I was a little disappointed that Famoso was one of the stops, since it’s a chain and I’ve had it before. The other three stops were great. I was full before we even got to dessert! Two of the dessert stops were at coffee shops so that was a little redundant but I was thrilled to finally try affogato. At the end of the tour, we even got to take home a bag of fresh ravioli. The tour was well organized and it seemed like they had the system down to an art, which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend this tour for couples and friends!
