Suzy and her brother Matthew were our excellent surf instructors. They were super kind and patient as we have never surfed before. It was so much fun! We will book them again if we come back. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing experience. We were referred to Sunset Suzy’s by a friend in Missouri and we were not disappointed. Suzy is so nice and friendly. My lesson was on a Saturday morning. Suzy gave great instructions on where to meet her and how to get there. She was not available to do the lesson herself but brought an awesome instructor for me…..professional surfer Jaime Sterling! He was super nice and great at giving instruction; very patient and encouraging. I would most definitely highly recommend Sunset Suzy’s.

First time in Hawaii gave way to deciding to do first time surfing. For lessons, this was a great experience especially for the amount of time. I went to the north shore with the instructor Matt, who was a great instructor. With clear directions and knowledge about which waves to hit, it was a memorable first surfing experience. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about who they want to get lessons from.

Our family had an amazing time with Suzy and her crew. We are a family of 4 (2 daughters age 4 and 3) and we all were able to stand up and catch some waves! My 4 year old when for 2 hours with no break and didn’t wanna stop. Next time we are on the island we will take another privet family lesson with Sunset Suzy! Crew was so friendly and accommodating. Each of our girls had their own instructor and me and my husband had 1. Me and my husband took turns going out (we would wait in a low wave area for the other to catch a wave not on shore) and that was perfect as we needed a little break in between waves. Overall highly recommend as my family really had a good time!
