I asked in advance if it was possible to go for a walk in the cave and the answer was perhaps, depending on the circumstances. We took the least windy day but no boats even try to go to the beach. They will go there just minute to look at the hole. I recommend to not book this and go by your self if you, wanna explore the cave.

Beware of last minute cancellation! We wanted to take this boat because it was the only one that set sail at 5:15 and we wanted to catch the sunset. But when we showed up, they said there was an engine problem on the boat (despite another full boat pulling up at the time) and for some reason they said they "couldn't contact us" because it was through Viator. Not sure how, since Viator emailed me the confirmation! Anyway, good news is they refunded the money. Bad news is there were no other boats for the evening and we had to change our entire itinerary so we could take a different tour the next day from another company.

NOTICE: DO NOT BOOK THIS, SPECIALLY IF ONLINE
I booked a trip for for 11:30 and they departed around 11:20 without me and then they suggested me to go 14:30 (CRAZY!). They do this on purpose. They made the boat full and then they didn’t care if I am there or not. After I contact them by call they treated me so bad, zero education. Well, I didn’t take any boat with them, went to police station, also wrote in their complaint book. Let’s see if doesn’t happen the same to another costumers. Worst experience in Algarve. Manguitu’s is the company name.

Don't do this tour, this captain Miguel it's so dangerous,
He nearly smashed a group of kayaks that were stucked in the middle of a cave!
A experience to not repeat ????????

Awful!
Mikel the captain tried to hit kayaks. Really bad behavior from his part.
Worst experience in the Algarve.
