This was an excellent day out. Keith, our driver and guide made everything easy for us. He was informative and helpful without overwhelming us with information. There were a couple of other minor stops along the way but the highlight by far was Hobbition movie set. We left Keith behind at this point and went on with a Hobbiton guide. I am a fan of LOTR so for me is was extra special but there were non- fans in our tour group who also enjoyed it. the tours are very slick and they manage to put huge numbers through the site without ever making you feel crowded or hurried. Fabulous.

Great experience. Loved the small tour format. Dave, our guide, was just fantastic. Showed us a little around port before heading to Hobbiton. He was so accommodating and just super nice! Timing for the entire tour was just perfect. Never felt rushed. We've never seen the Hobbit or Lord of the Rings movies and have never read the books. It was still fantastic. Well worth the money and time.

We are not fans of the movies but it was a beautiful setting, the tour guide was great and now we will watch the movies. However, please know this is not a tour for anyone with any kind of mobility issues.

The tour guide John is very nice and knowledgeable. However, the tour agent does not honor the small group arrangement, the number of members are over 20. We need to be decided by two group in The the hobbit movie village. Group is further mixed with other people, even worse in terms of number of people. We should not charged by small group and put in a large group arrangement which greatly decrease the quality of tour.
