Are we all rich? On this cultural bike tour of Lucerne, you will discover how and why the Swiss people think and behave differently from the rest of the world. All the while, cruising in and around Lucerne on our specialized electric cargo bikes. The tour has five stops, each offering a different perspective on the fascinating traditions and stereotypes of the nation and its citizens.The tour starts at the Caritas Velostation, next to Lucerne’s Central Train Station. From there, we will ride outside of the city towards Horw, passing stunning historical buildings and continuing to an old railway track near one of the wealthiest areas of Switzerland-the not-so-touristy side of the city. As we reach Lake Lucerne, we will take a break and grab a typical Swiss snack while enjoying a magnificent view of Mount Pilatus and the stunning Swiss Alps. After enjoying the vista and taking a couple of pictures, we’ll cruise around the Horwer Peninsula along a safe street with further spots to take more photos of the impressive landscape. We will end the tour back at the Caritas Velostation, with an official immigration test, where you’ll have the chance to secure your own Swiss passport. Roberto was wonderful! The tour was in December so it was cold, however, he was prepared. He supplied blankets, hot tea, cookies and a stop at a locally owned coffee shop. Saw parts of the city we would not have seen! Highly recommend ??

To start with the ride was absolutely stunning. You get to know some facts about Switzerland and enjoy the beautiful views. Roberto is very nice, funny and friendly person and can be your tourist guide through Lucerne. Fun activity to do alone, with family or friends. Highly recommend ??

A trip with Loop Tours Lucerne is a perfect introduction to a lesser known part of Lucerne for international students! Roberto is a fantastic and very charming guide with great knowledge of the area and Switzerland in general. Our whole group really enjoyed it and we'll definitely book another tour with our next batch!

The tour was simply amazing and all participants really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the perfect set-up in the bicycles to have a proper conversation with your close colleagues. Nick was a very entertaining guide and quiz master. The cherry on the pie was definitely the culinary highlight at the farm of Ferdy & Antoinette, the food & wine was simply outstanding. Definitely one of the best food experiences in Switzerland in 6 years' time. I can definitely recommend this to everyone interested in a great team experience in the area of Luzern.
