I highly recommend booking this tour, especially with Hunter the tour guide. For our tour it happened that my friend and I were the only people in the tour, and it was great that they did not cancel it, and it turned into a private charter! Hunter our tour guide and our captain were so nice and fun. The boat was very comfortable and also fast, and only maybe after 15min? after boating, near Kona downtown, we saw a bunch of dolphins! The pod was like 100 dolphins! We were not allowed to wear fins because of Hawaii law, and I was not a good swimmer, so after jumping into the water I could not get myself moving, and thank god Hunter was there to help me! Basically he held my hands while swimming and got me closer to the dolphin pod (also not too close to interrupt them), and then it was all like magical! They were resting, playing with each other, circling, and approached to us and then swam away. They became my favorite animal since that moment. It was a good chunk of time in the water.

I had the best tour of my entire life with Cheryl and our captain (sorry, I cant remember his name… I talked to Cheryl a lot but he was sooo sweet). One thing that is truly important to me is to only take tours that are environmentally conscious. I would never want to be a part of a tour group that encourages harassing or chasing animals. We went to several spots and observed the dolphins up close but without being in their space. The guides were so helpful and full of information, and the tour group was small. This was the most fun ive ever had on a tour. You can tell they put the well being of the ocean and all its creatures.

It was such a fun and amazing trip! I was swimming with a large pod of spinner dolphins. The captain and the tour guide are super knowledgeable, caring and fun to be around. They care deeply for the dolphins and marine animals. Being in a small group was also a plus. Highly recommend this trip ??.

So much fun! Beautiful dolphins swimming only a few feet away from you! Very helpful guides and so amazing to watch these animals in their natural habitat.
