Check in at ALLBOUT CAIRNS shop, then be driven to the gorge and soak in the beautiful sights. Receive instruction on rappelling techniques on the safety of flat ground. You’ll start our adventure near the top of the gorge and abseil into the fresh water. From here, swim, walk over rocky gorges and through the tropical rain forest, leap off rocks into the deep pools below and canyon through Crystal Canyon. Don’t worry, anyone of a reasonable fitness level will love this adventure.After this, head back to Cairns and you'll be dropped off at your accommodation before 12pm.The qualified guides have vast experience in canyoning and show the utmost professionalism to ensure you have a safe and fun day. Had a great day with the guys from Cairns Canyoning. The day comprised of so many experiences in one trip. Everything from water slides, abseiling through water falls, cliff jumping and zip line make this such an adventurous experience.

I did this as part of a study abroad orientation experience. I had an amazing time and the people who work here are very kind and helpful and work very hard to ensure a safe, fun experience for everyone. Would highly reccomend!

The canyoning / waterfall rappelling outing to Crystal Cascades was an absolute blast! It was my favorite activity of my 16 day trip. If you're looking for an exhilarating adventure this is the one. All of the guides were super knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. Your safety and fun are their top priority. Everything ran smoothly from registering, getting geared up (they supply everything you need), learning and practicing safety techniques, transport, and getting everyone through all of the features on the river. They also take epic pictures of your adventure that you can purchase afterwards. Highly recommend!

My wife and teenage daughters did this. The guides are great and the trip down the canyon was amazing. I would recommend for anyone that is in decent shape.
