Words can not say enough about our private tour with Nicolas on the Yellow Tour within Provans. Originally our riverboat wasn't to get into Avignon until 9 AM, the start time of their day tours. Since we were the first couple to inquire about this tour on this particular day, Veronica adjusted the time to 9:30 AM for pick up. That in itself impressed me. It turned out we were the only ones on the tour so we had Nicolas to ourselves. From the moment he picked us up, it felt like we were traveling with a friend. He gave us enough time at each stop, gave us maps as needed to make the most of our time at the stop and provided us with so many wonderful details along the way. The conversation never stopped and it felt like we were site seeing with a friend that lived abroad. Nicolas is so personable, a great conversationalist and fabulous guide. He gave us leads on another tour company for the second half of our trip. He also gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner that night in Avign

We had a wonderful day. Nick was a wonderful guide who provided an exceptional experience. Will definitely do another Provans Tour when we return to Avignon again.

We just took this tour, with Nicolas from Provans as our guide. Nicolas was indeed a wonderful guide--very knowledgeable, a great conversationalist, and very willing to tailor the experience to our interests. We chose this tour because it offered a varied view of the area, and we were not disappointed. The villager of Les Baux was beautiful, Arles was full of interesting sites, Le Pont du Gard was magnificent, and the wine tasting was a great way to end the day. I highly recommend it!
