This was an experience I will not forget easily. Our tasting guide was fantastic and one of the best I have come across. The tasting format was relaxing and informative, and depending on your knowledge he would go that extra mile to make sure your questions were answered. I have visited this winery before and it never fails to deliver good wine in a friendly environment. Well done Elderton wines sensational.

Not too commercial; small and intimate yet very stylish. This is a great cellar door - which can be found just outside Nuriootpa. Set back from the main road the house is set in beautiful gardens next to fields of vines. Inside the house its very stylish; great facilities with a long cellar door bar area with seating. We stayed for lunch and were delighted with the both the pate and the cheese platter which were great. I have always liked Elderton wines - now I'll recommend the Cellar door too.

The service was excellent and the host most informative. The Cellar Door is set in this beautiful old house, that absolutely oozes old world charm. Every wine that we tasted was a winner both white and red. The samples were not stingy either. Highly recommend this winery.
