Our tour bus driver said that was the best way to see the falls, so we purchased tickets and went up there. It's really not worth it to buy separate tickets to go up the Skylon Tower. The best way to see and feel the falls is when you get by the falls. If it is part of your tour go ahead, but if you have to pay a separate fee to go up the Skylon Tower don't waste your time.

We loved going up in the glass elevator and then walking around the outside platform. You get such a wonderful view of the whole area. And then inside, if you walk around again, there are very informative plaques telling you what you are seeing and also some history of the area. We did not buy the "green screen" photos they tried to sell us at the end. We did not eat at the restaurant as the reviews were not good.

I didn’t go. Your idiot agent booked me in Canada instead of the observation tower in New York. I lost 28 bucks for nothing

Nice view, but there are plenty of other spots around town to get a great view of the area at no charge.
