Our day on the El Toro was by far the highlight of our week stay in St Thomas. All 19 of us agree that our boat day was the most fun we had. John and Kit made our experience so great! They were so professional and made sure we had the best day ever! If you have a bad day with them, it has to be you. lol.

We went out on Innovation 2 with a party of 10 and Daniel as our captain. The boat is great—plenty of room and shade and a very smooth ride. Daniel was a wonderful captain who took us to a number of snorkeling sites we would never had found on our own. A great day!

I worked with John, the owner, to book a private boat day on El Toro. John was incredibly easy to work with for booking. We had our first boat day with Brian and Justin, who were both wonderful, funny, knowledgeable, and overall just nice guys. They took us to great snorkel spots and private beaches inaccessible from the island. We loved it so much that we booked a second day on El Toro and were lucky enough to have Brian again, and John (the owner). Again, such a perfect day. They provisioned drinks for us that time and Brian made delicious Island-y cocktails. 10/10 recommend, when we head back we will absolutely use John and his team again for a boat day!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. I was put in contact with John by some locals and I am so glad. He was so helpful from the start. We had a group of 16 and El Toro was able to accommodate all of us. John made it so easy to get everything set up and I was able to keep in contact with him for any questions. He got back to me fast with all the answers we needed. El Toro was great. We all had room to sit comfortably and there were sun spots and shade spots for whatever you wanted. Our captain Justin was wonderful. We wanted to snorkle and we had some areas in mind. He was able to tell us about the areas we were interested in. He advised against one due to the amount of sargassum. It is awesome to have someone familiar with the area that could help guide us to an incredible day. A highlight of our family vacation to Magen’s Bay was our snorkel excursion on the El Toro with Alex and Kit! From start to finish we could not have asked for a better experience. John was so responsive to emails and so flexible while trying to accommodate our group of 19 passengers ranging in age from 15 to 75. The main reasons we selected St Thomas Boat Rental were the size of the boat and their willingness to pick us up at our rental house! The service we received was an added bonus. While on vacation, the corona virus pandemic broke out. All of the snorkel equipment was properly sanitized between each use and was in very good shape. And we couldn’t have been any more socially distanced than in the beautiful turquoise waters of St Thomas and St John enjoying the sunshine and warm climate! While they did a great job of keeping the equipment clean during our excursion, I don’t believe that this was anything out of the ordinary. Their boat and equipment are well maintained and
