If you grew up in the 70’s or 80’s, if you grew up building ramps with your friends to jump stuff with your bike and sometimes jump your friends, if your good ole days were before the world became so sissified, this is the tour for you. It isn’t cheap but you get every penny’s worth and more. Takes the better part of a day to get there, do the activity (3-4 hours) and get back to the hotel area. It is hard work, you will get tired, sore, dirty as you can imagine and probably even get a bruise or two but it’s probably the most fun we have had in our 5 trips to Hawaii. My only concern is with the booking itself, Viator does not communicate well with this business. Once you book, make sure to call the number on the ticket to schedule time and specifics with actual business, this is an absolute must. Bikes have saddle bags to carry your stuff. Bring plenty of bottle water and snacks. This is not like 4 wheeler tours on the islands, these bikes are work and need to be manhandled a l

My adult daughter and I had a great time riding these motorcycles! We are experienced riders so after our tour guide AJ noticed our intermediate skill level he took us on a route to see the Green Sand Beach. He gave us time to jump in the water and enjoy the scenery. AJ was very attentive to make sure to go at a speed that we were comfortable with and always checking in. He also followed our request to stop at certain places to take photos. There was various terrain on our ride, from dirt, soft sand trails to some rocky areas but I'm sure AJ wouldn't take beginner riders through the more difficult areas to ride. He was very friendly and we feel that it was worth the price. The reason why I didn't give it 4 stars was because he wasn't aware of our reservation until I called the day before to confirm. AJ said that he didn't get a notification from Trip Advisor so I don't know who is to blame. I'm glad it worked out in the end because we had a blast!

Andre and Shelley bring a very personalized approach to teaching us how to motorcycle in the rugged volcanic terrain on the Big Island. Both my wife and I were beginners. Andre and Shelley took the time to get us up to speed. We definitely enjoyed the back trails of Hawaii off the beaten path. Very affordable for the two hour trip we did. They have very high business ethics. Very highly recommend Doug Prahl and Julie Esselman Otsego, MN
