Traveler Reviews

The Estigo Tour experience was so good that is difficult to describe the professional and diligent manner in which they handle my request for private tour and even more difficult to describe the professionalism of my guide and my driver. Estigo tailored my tour itinerary per my preferences and requests. Then, Monserrat, my guide, was like a History Professor. Her knowledge about the places we visited is extraordinary. it is amazing how she knows about Frida and Diego as well as about the history of Xochimilco. Luis, our driver, was very prudent when driving and very knowledgeable too. His comments supplemented Monserrat's explanations. In addition, there is something that is priceless: the education and politeness of these two wonderful persons. Don't doubt to schedule your tours with Estigo... they are the best!!

Excelente company. Gonzalo answer my emails and all my questions right away. Pepe was my guide, very knowledgeable in the history of Mexico and his way around, he kept me busy and learning for 3 days. I stayed in the hotel Barcelo, although very pretty and good location, it was very impersonal and cold. Good for business travelers but no heart...lol. I will definitely use Estigo tours again!

We had a long but very rewarding trip to see the Coyoacan neighborhood and had lunch at a great outdoor market where we managed to find lots of things to buy. Dina was our guide and she knew a lot about the neighbor. We then went to Frida Kahlo's Museum which was fascinating. Xochimilco, floating gardens was a treat to return to. since it was a weekday, we didn't experience the crowds that you typically find on weekends. It was a great day and everyone in our group of four enjoyed everything we saw and heard about.

We came to Mexico City with my cousins for fun and were told these 3 places were a must to book. So to avoid headaches we booked this tour with Estigo tours. We had a private guide and driver which was amazing. We were picked up at our AirBnb on time and by the friendliest of guides. Dina picked us up and we went onto our first stop which was UNAM University which was very interesting and tons of knowledge from our guide about it and murals nearby. Then the tour moved onto more of a fun (yet still historic) list of items such as the Friday Museum which was amazing. Totally worth it and by purchasing the tickets ahead we were able to literally wait all of 2-3 minutes in line. We made it in early than most people so a lot of the rooms and areas were not as busy. We noticed that as we were leaving it had gotten significantly busier. We then went on to Coayacan market to have lunch and drinks which we enjoyed sooooooo much. We asked Dina if she knew any places that had more of a beer selec

This was an amazing tour for us. It was a private guided tour for just the three of us. Our guide - Yunueun Galicia - was extremely knowledgeable and spoke very good English and these facts made the tour very worthwhile. The driver - Gonzalo - made the trip very comfortable for us. The guide was especially helpful in providing background information to us on the history and culture of Mexico that enhanced our enjoyment and understanding.
