We booked a full day of climbing, TWICE, with RCC during a two week vacation in July 2021. Our guide Felipe, who we went climbing with both times, was absolutely FANTASTIC, he's happy to explain safety concepts, instruct good rock climbing technique, motivate you, and certainly made both of our days of climbing fun, challenging, and most of all enjoyable.
The value to what you pay vs what you get is incredible, a whole day of climbing with all gear necessary, highly experienced guides, gorgeous views, climbs ranging from easy to challenging, and plenty of redundant safety measures taken.
We went to two separate climbing areas, Tafelberg and ROI Rincon, both have PLENTY of moderate climbs (5.7-5.9) for the less-experienced-but-still-somewhat-experienced climbers like my wife and I. Tafelberg also has exciting routes 5.9-5.12 (and probably higher) that have an amazing view of the whole island and provide a fantastic challenge to those who seek it.
