Mike is an excellent tour guide, very personable and knowledgeable. The spot for lunch was breathtaking, the little town for coffee was really cute and the hike was beautiful. I could have used a little more hiking, but we hike quite often so could have gone further and longer.

Our tour guide Mike was extremely knowledgeable and super engaging. Swimming in the waterfall was surreal and the guide made sire we did so safely. We had lunch overlooking some incredible valleys to finish off the tour, which were incredible. Overall a great experience!

Everything was phenomenal! Mike our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor ??! The hike was great, views were stunning, lunch was overlooking the 7 valleys (feels like heaven). My family enjoyed the swim (chilly at first but body acclimated and Mike assisted them under the big ??). This is a definite check in our bucket list. Mike can never retire—-he has a wealth of information including lifelong experiences from his sojourn all over the globe. Thank you Mike for acknowledging us (RN’s) — that was so sweet!

This was our second tour with Hawaii Forest and Trail and it was just as great as the first. This company offers high quality, fun adventure experiences in a sustainable and educational way that can be hard to find. Our guide, Mike, was super knowledgeable, a great storyteller and teacher, and kept us safe and happy all day long. The waterfall hike offered amazing views and a cool dip; we would recommend to others looking for a waterfall experience on the big island since so many are on private land or otherwise not accessible to the public.

I like this as a small group, more personal, off the crowd tour to visit a site that has 5 waterfalls. It is very laid back, and you will learn a lot of history, culture and people from the tour guide. And finally you will have a lovely lunch at a place overseeing a beautiful coast that is all just for the small group of yours. Totally recommend it.
