Some cities are best seen from the river. Unfortunately Vienna is not one of them. You get a great view of the A4 which runs parallel with the river all the way, plus a glimpse or two of the rail line. Plus a lot of graffiti. Having said that the boat was clean, covid restrictions in place, and the journey was nice in the sunshine, just nothing to see. Vienna is a lovely city, well worth a visit, just don't go on this tour unless you really, really love boat tours.....

Should be renamed Grafitti Cruise! Whilst some can be described as artwork there is a definite over balance of gross defacement. DDSG obviously has no control over this, but if you find it visually offensive, don't bother. The actual canal is not the most picturesque stretch of waterway but there are some interesting buildings and bridges. Interaction with people on the banks was entertaining. Would say this is an overpriced experience.

What a waste of money. Dirty smelly water and NOTHING to see. A rude waiter who charged me €5.40 for a coffee. Hire a bike and ride down the canal a least you could stop when you wanted.
