Traveler Reviews

Started off on the wrong foot but eventually everything worked out in the end. We were told to meet our driver at 5 a.m. for the 4 hour drive from Acapulco. We confirmed this a few days prior to the trip. By 5:15 a.m. we called our driver her was running late. We waited another 30 min before we were finally on our way. The promised bottled water for the trip was also forgotten. Anyway, we finally made it to the pyramids and they were amazing. Lunch was good as well. Then, onto the city. We enjoyed the sights and history but were unable to visit the National Palace due to a special event. We added a visit to the top of the tower for photos. only small cameras allowed so be prepared. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke good English. We left the city at 6 pm. and made it back by 10:30 p.m. It was a great trip and I would recommend going with a driver/guide. The city is too big to manage and the traffic is terrible.
