Unforgettable experience! A really lovely trip to the lavender fields. Our guide Rémy was such a great host, I believe in the small van we spoke four different languages, and he was always taking care to switch to all the different languages and make sure no one should feel neglected during the drive to the lavender fields. And the fields are just wonderful and perfect... Like a dream... My train was unfortunately delayed for 15 minutes that day, luckily I called to the office and a kindest sweetest lady called Anne helped me out and talked to the driver and the other passengers. I owe a huge thank to all of them for making my dream come true. Thank you! Hope to be there again next summer.

Fantastic experience! Rémy , our tour guide made the trip to the lavendar fields an hour away from Aix-en-Provence very enjoyable. With multiple stops in lavendar fields in the Valence region, as well as a tour of the distillery and tasting local produce by a field of olive trees, this half day trip is totally worth it!

Overall the trip was very good. The trip was well led and the areas visited beautiful. Sadly it was one of the few days in France during our stay where the weather was really bad. So towns like Rousillon and Gourdes that are beautiful were wet and miserable and there was a lot of mist around.

The guide was very friendly and on the way to the fields he spoke about the history of Avignon. When we got to the valley he spoke about the start of the farming community that lives there. We had more than enough time to wander around the lavender factory and then we went to the fields. Not once were we rushed and the tour guide even offered to help take our photos. It was raining on and off so we finished the fields quickly voluntarily and headed to the town of Sault. He gave us the option to stay in the town longer or to go to another field after the town, which was super nice. Thankfully it wasn't raining when we went to another field that he found so we were all able to get our pictures! Late July maybe wasn't the best time to go as much of the lavender was harvested but the guide made sure we still got to see great fields.
