Bus tour was very informative, we managed to sit at the front of the bus, get there early for top deck!!! The boat tour was very relaxing, a big thank you to Rebecca, excellent tour guide!!! !Winter Tour!

Having used this type of tour in London and New York, and making the decision NEVER to use it again, I made the same mistake in Stockholm. The boat part was ok but the bus was hopeless. We waited for 45 minutes outside the Historical Museum, and we could see buses going across the intersection about 500 meters away but never turning up our street. Finally one arrived, standing room only, and we then detoured to the cruise terminal at Frihamnen where there were at least 4 of these buses, mostly nearly empty and none of which had come our way at the Museum. We then spent an hour getting back to the centre of town and the bus we were on announced it would be bypassing the next 9 stops and if you wanted to stop at any of them, get off and get on another bus. What a waste of time! We will never use any of them again.

Visited museum and had a guided tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Magnificent museum that gave an insight into how people lived in the past. There was a music festival on in the city the day of my visit which disrupted traffic quite a bit so, unfortunately, there was a very long delay with buses going back to the ship. Apart from that the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus was an excellent way to see the city.
