A great day out, and so glad we did it with Phil to benefit from his extensive knowledge of the area. A slight variation from the norm I think as one of the normal venues was closed, so had a lovely pub lunch at The Swan Hotel in Greytown, and dinner at the Union Square bistro at the Martinborough Hotel. In between was a trip around the south east coast to the end of the road at the Cape Palliser lighthouse. Views across Cook Strait to the Kaikoura Range, tractors lining the beach at Ngawi, wonderful views of the seals at their colony, all part of a very rewarding day! Thanks to Phil, and we'll be back.

This was a fabulous day with Phil from
ZoZo tours. He is a very skilled driver who offers a great narrative of local history, cultures & information on the drive in a day packed with diverse activities & great experiences. Amazing lunch & dinner after wine cheese & chocolate stop overs! Thanks Phil - you’re awesome!

In spite of cold wind and rain we had an excellent tour with Phil. We really appreciated his driving skills through the winding mountain pass into the wine region. Quick but delicious stops at Cheese Shop and Chocolate shop before a fabulous lunch and wine tasting. Everything was delicious! Then on to more wine tastings, getting up close to playful fur seals, climbing up to a very high lighthouse, enduring high winds up there, and finally to another delicious meal before being dropped off safely back at our accommodation. Swing bridge walk wasn't an option as it was being repaired, but Phil did take us to a filming site for one of the Lord of the Ring movies instead. A great way to see and taste some of the excellent offerings in this part of New Zealand.

What an awesome day out!! Philip was a great tour guide and showed us so much over the 10 hours we were with him! Highlights for me were the beautiful scenery, the fur seal colony, the wild coast and lighthouse, and not having to drive!! Loved the chocolate tasting and the ‘’Savvies’’ at the wineries. Loved it all!! Totally recommend for those with limited time in NZ and want to see more than just the city.
