When my family of 3 landed in Kona, I commented that I could never see myself riding a helicopter for my fear of heights. I returned to pick up my family in a rental car and was informed that we were booked for a helicopter tour with Paradise the next day. The whole staff of the company was incredible, from check in and safety briefly through the 2+ hour tour. The team on the ground not only competently briefed us an gave knowledgeable answers to questions, but also showed us photos and gave great history of their experiences flying in helicopters. The tour itself was fantastic - a breath-taking, well-narrated and thrilling trip of Hawaii's diverse natural landscape. Our pilot, Matt, showed impressive knowledge, including names of various valleys and waterfalls, and also called out anticipated areas of wind and turbulence for the benefit of nervous, first-time passengers. The best way to see the Big Island, and I would definitely fly with Paradise again.

This was amazing. Dont juts do the short one to see the volcano, so this one and see the volcano and much, much more. A+

Ryan was our pilot and he was amazing. Great tour guide and great pilot. My family had the whole copter to ourselves. Ryan was super laid back and easy to talk to. Definitely takes pride in his job. This experience was unlike anything I have ever done. Not something any of my family will soon forget. I had me, my boyfriend, and my 3 boys (14,13,&8) they all LOVED it. My 14 year old got to be in front as the co-pilot. If you are considering doing this, then don't hesitate. You won't regret it! Thank you Ryan and Paradise Helicopters! You made our trip!

O passeio foi maravilhoso. Toda a equipe da Paradise foi atenciosa e muito simpática. O piloto que conduziu o Tour, demonstrou perícia e competência durante todo o passeio. Houve apenas uma relativa frustração em não contemplar a "Lava do Kilauea", mas é óbvio que isso não tem influência alguns da empresa, pois depende exclusivamente de fatores naturais. Mas o passeio não é só sobre o Vulcão. As paisagens naturais no decorrer do percurso, compensam por si só o passeio. Foi sensacional.

Easily the highlight of our Hawaiian vacation & my wife and son both agree. Ryan Moeller was our pilot and tour guide - he was so knowledgable, engaging and personally very interested in every aspect of the Big Island. We were awestruck by the beauty of the island and the dramatic waterfalls, the craters and lava flows with steam coming out, the black and green sand beaches and the amazing the wildlife he pointed out to us I.e Pigs, Goat. It's hard to describe how great a Heli tour this was - if we only did this tour traveling all the way to Hawaii - I would say the trip was well worth it to visit the Big Island. At times we felt like we were on a different planet with all the lava and craters and volcanic mountains in the center-ish of the island . Ryan was in constant dialogue with us pointing interesting things and sharing stories and answering our questions.
