Traveler Reviews

Our tour guide was amazing and my friend and I enjoyed our tour. We went to the Queen’s Staircase, Tasty Teas, and a rum cake shop. I highly recommend this culture tour.

Jeremy was an awesome tour guide. We had difficulty getting off the ship and out the gate but he was in contact with us and waited. Once the tour started he gave us a lot of information about the country. Our stops were awesome; Tasty Teas gave us a private demonstration with samples; the distillery was interesting but beware the rum is strong; but the Rum Cake factory was awesome, providing samples. We really enjoyed our tour and was sorry to have it end. Still waiting for Jeremy to share our photo.

The day started as to what I thought was going to be a busy and exciting excursion, by the description of stops involved. We got about 1/2 of what is advertised. We did not go to Atlantis even though I asked our guide Marvin about going there. We did not go in the John Watling's Distillery, just stopped on the road out front for a few seconds. We did not go to Fort Fincastle, another stop listed on the tour. We also did not go to Fort Montagu as listed. No bottled water was offered as listed. Had I known it wouldn't be, I would have taken my own. Our tour only lasted 1-1/2 hours, not 2-1/2. We did get to see the low and high end homes (from afar) and learned alot about the culture, government, taxes, health care, etc. but was very disappointed in the description of this excursion, only to see about 1/2 of the listed stops. For the price, it was not worth it. Would not recommend for this price.

Jeremy was very good and informative really enjoyed the day tea shop was good as was the distillery aaaaaaAaAaA

Awesome experience! I had no idea that the Bahamian culture celebrate junkaroo almost like how we experience Mardi Gras in the states. Rum cake samples was great & the tasty teas service was excellent. Jeremy (tour guy) was beyond amazing, informative & patient throughout our tour. Definitely recommend.
