Unpleasant / waste of time. I did the cholula/puebla day trip, but: - the stop at the gas station was pretty but far too long (20-30 mins) that should have been spent in the actual towns imo (this is not a big deal though) - we didn't leave from the meet up location until 15 mins after the start time (annoying but also ok) - we didn't leave cholula until 30 minutes after that time we were supposed to (much more annoying... I was sitting on the bus for 35 minutes that I could have been roaming) - we didn't leave Puebla until an HOUR after the time we were supposed to. wtf -- given how little time we had there, I had to rush through lunch with random to-go things and skip floors of very cool museums, an extra hour actually traveling would have been awesome. - All these delays were stacked -- i.e. we didn't leave puebla until 4:45 when we should have at 2:45/3 according to the initial itinerary (we had initially planned something in the evening in Mexico City, I'm glad we didn't bo

What an amazing day! The guide and driver (Kevin and Gustavo) were fantastic! Kevin provided great explanations and answered all my questions! Gustavo was a great driver! The ride to Cholula and Puebla was also very beautiful. Quite breathtaking actually! Highly recommend this tour!

The reservation meeting point said Hotel Amigo at 7. We got to the hotel gate at 7:04, the door was locked and we were waiting for someone to open the gate. Across the street we saw a white van but the driver was looking at us and said nothing and just left. Finally someone open the hotel gate but he said he know nothing and can’t help. We tried to send messages but got nowhere. This was terrible experience and terrible service. Up until now no one contacted us. I really don’t know what happened and we are trying to get our money back. I’d advise you to stay away from Amigo. I hope someone from Tripadvisor will help on this

On this tour you’ll see some of the most historic and unique churches in the Cholula and Puebla area, as well as some time at the end of the tour to explore Puebla on foot. As a young-ish couple in our thirties, we would have appreciated time to explore Cholula. It was quite sad that we didn’t get to explore such a unique and colorful town on foot. It seems like such a fun place to do some photography. Most of the churches do not allow photography so be ready to take everything in with your eyes and not your phone.

My wife and I took this tour in Nov/21. Overall the day was very enjoyable. The van was clean (though a little cramped - our tour was full), and the driver was excellent. The tour itself gave us sufficient time at each stop to walk around without feeling rushed. The guide was a very warm older gentleman, who explained things well. The reason I don’t give this 5 stars is that it was billed as an English tour, but it was conducted in both English and Spanish. Not a huge deal, but it’s clear that he was explaining things much more thoroughly in Spanish (obviously his native language), so when we were listening to Spanish 2/3 of the time, it was a little annoying knowing that we’d chosen / paid for an English tour.
