This building is from the sixteenth century, making it one of the oldest cathedrals in the whole country. Your sightseeing tour continues to the Palacio de Cortés, which Hernán Cortés ordered to be built in the immediate years of Mexico conquest. Finally, you'll visit the monument to Morelos. He was a military insurgent and Mexican patriot, who organized and was the architect of the second stage of the War of Independence of Mexico. After this waling tour, you will have 1 hour of free time to buy souvenirs, take photos, etc.Duration: 2 hoursStop At: Taxco, Taxco, Pacific CoastAfter seeing the best of Cuernavaca, you will drive to Taxco, a colonial city with hundreds of years of history. The city is nestled on a hillside with winding cobblestone streets, tile roofed buildings, cozy squares and a strong Old World ambiance that has survived through hundreds of years. During your visit, you will see Santa Prisca, one of Mexico’s greatest churches and a silver workshop, where you will be teached how to recognise the good silver, and have free time to buy souvenirs, have lunch, take photos, etc.Taxco is known worldwide for its quality silver mines and shops so you will have the opportunity to see and buy art pieces from Mexican artisans. Great your guild in Josue. I really enjoyed Taxco. However, other than the cathedral, we basically walked around the town square for about an hour. Everything was just opening while we were there. Perhaps you either need to go to Taxco first then Cuernavaca or at least just stop for the Cathedral then move on to Taxco.

They overbooked! Tour guide said he hadn't had us on his list initially, which greatly concerned us. Eventually, we had to squeeze into the extreme far back seat where there was no legroom, no windows, and no way to look outside given the video screen blocking the front view, and it was NOT a particularly comfortable bus.
Do want to say the tour guide was very nice and offered the front seat for me - I am a big six foot guy - which was appreciated, but my wife and daughter had to sit in the back.
The commentary in English was sparse, not much more than we knew from our guidebook, but the tour guide answered all our questions and was very friendly. The Driver was very good.
I would not recommend this tour. In retrospect would have booked a private car and guide. Had little value over taking public transport and would have been a lot less expensive.

Fabio was an amazing tour guide! Very knowledgeable. The tour was a smaller group and at a pretty relaxing pace so you can see the sights, stop for a drink and do shopping. Really enjoyed it! Highly recommend this one.

Fabio the tour guide and our driver Ricardo were both amazing! Fabio was super knowledgeable and provided history and context to all the sites. There are many Taxco trips but this is the best one!
