Traveler Reviews

Made good use of the Hop on Hop off buses to explore the city and identify places we wanted to visit during our stay. The Vienna pass got us into see the Spanish Riding School training session and the State Treasury in the Imperial Palace. Free entry to St Stephen's Cathedral. Spent a lovely day exploring Schonbrunn Palais

It's convient and worth the money because you get a lot for your money once you spend a good amount of time in the city I don't think it would be good to do a 1 day package. I did a 2 day tour and hop on hop off bus tour included which is great because you can look it up and decided in advance what attractions you need to see over others. I'm glad I did the package because the staff at the office are friendly and professional and I would have spent more money doing it on my own with cash to each attraction.

Said they go to the Spanish Riding School but we did not see that on their map nor did the driver announce it. Busses run infrequently, had to wait a very long time for the next bus. It was NOT open air so it was very hot on the top deck.

I got the six-day pass because there is so much to see and do in Vienna, and I did not want to be stressed out trying to decide what to squeeze into two or three days. I recommend coming to Vienna for a week, and planning out the activities so that you cover a couple of museums each day plus some other non-museum activities. If you want to visit Kunsthistorisiches, Leopold, Mumok, Albertina, Naturhistorisches, MAK, Kunst Haus, Kunst Halle, Haus der Musik, and some of the many more obscure museums (Globe, Esperanto, Papayrus, Dom, Kaiser Wagen, the list goes on and on...), you will absolutely save money with this pass because the entrance fees are steep in Vienna. Add on to that Hoffburg, Schonbrun Grand Tour, River Cruise, Mozart Haus, Donauturm, Ring Tram, Tiergarten, etc., and the Vienna pass ends up being a TOTAL BARGAIN. My only caveat is that the Hop on and Hop off bus is not a true source of transportation, as there are hardly any stops (and only two lines running right now, bec

We ordered this on-line and collected it from the office, opposite the Opera House. Fast friendly service, don't forget to take your passport or coy of it! We visited places we probably would usually visit, e.g. madam tussouds to escape from the rain and ended up really enjoying it. The Hop on/off bus service worked perfectly for us Well worth the money and avoids waiting in queues.
