Great family friendly experience. Staff is very nice and welcoming. We had children age 11-2 with us and they all enjoyed them self. The gardens and waterfall also a great addition

We decided to end our vacation with a luau, and this one was absolutely wonderful. It far surpassed what we had expected. The host was engaging, funny and informative. He was able to teach about the culture and crack jokes in a way that both adults and young kids could enjoy. The dances and drumming were fabulous. The food was so much better than I would have expected. The interactive activities at the beginning were a bit crowded. My older son was really looking forward to opening a coconut, but they were all gone once we got up there. The staff member ran off and brought another one over just for us, which was so incredibly nice. The staff were consistently friendly and easy to talk to. The kids rated this as their favorite activity of the whole week, and it was definitely in our top 3. Well worth it!

We were staying in Waikiki and the Polynesian Cultural Center luau was sold out. After doing a search on TripAdvisor, we came across Toa Luau and booked. A day or two before our luau, I started reconsidering if I wanted to drive over an hour to get here- so glad we stuck with the plan!! Plus you really can’t argue with the five star rating- it speaks for itself! First, don’t do what we did. Get there early (at least two hours, as they recommended)! Your luau ticket gains you access to the botanical garden and waterfall, which closes at four. Of course, we got there at four and those that got there early said these experiences were incredible. Second, this luau is much more intimate and interactive than the one at PCC- maybe 250 people max. Before the dining and show started, we got to experience various types of food preparation, weave our own coconut leaf crowns, and more! Because it was a smaller group, if you wanted to get your hands dirty (figuratively, they provide gloves ??),

This luau was by far a top 3 in our week on Oahu! It was interactive, interesting, funny and a lot of fun. The dancing was so great. We had a blast!!!!! You must go to this luau, you will love the food, drinks, and all your new cousins. It was a fantastic evening.
