Traveler Reviews

It was nice to sight seeing, my tour guide Les gave me some delicious rum punch! We then spent the rest of the tour on the beach.

A fantastic experience touring the islnd with very knowledgeable guides. The driver stopped regularly to show you the forna and fauna and tell you about the history of the island. Highly recommended.

We were collected from the dock having booked on board with Marella. It should have been a 4 x 4 adventure with a short stop at beach, photo opportunities & moderate walking. We were taken via the hospital car park as a photo point from truck of the port, through abandoned car strewn, overgrown off road track where we got a puncture. It was then a mad dash to the stop off point which we did not make and had to stop on side of road while they changed the tyre, we were given a drink while we waited. It was then a non stop drive to the beach where we were left for an hour with no water or shade unless we paid for it. We spent that time sitting in the sea, which was the highlight of the trip for us before being driven back to the port. The whole trip took 3 hours which in our opinion was just a long drive to a beach and back. We did complain to destination services on board and got our £100 (£50 each) back, along with most of the other guests who complained.
