ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productPass By: Port Zante, Basseterre St. KittsThe Rainforest Tour lets you escape to a tropical wonderland in the Caribbean and see parts of the island others miss. We meet you at the cruise ship dock or your hotel and then we give you a short sightseeing tour of our capital city, Basseterre, showing you the highlight of the town. We then head out westward along the Caribbean coastline passing through little villages on the way to the rainforest.Stop At: Romney Manor, Old Road Town, Basseterre St. KittsFirst, we go to Romney Manor, which is nestled in the rainforest and is the home of Samuel Jefferson, the great, great, great grandfather of Thomas Jefferson the third President of the United States.Duration: 30 minutesStop At: Wingfield-Phillips Rain Forest Nature Trail, St. KittsNext on our St. Kitts rainforest tour, we work our way down to Wingfield Estate Samuel Jefferson Plantation, the first in the British West Indies, and you visit the site where they once made sugar and rum in the 16th and 17th centuries. We take a short break for snacks and refreshments, which are provided.Duration: 1 hour

We did the rainforest tour and it was excellent.
There was somebody waiting for us in port when we docked and we were promptly taken to a very comfortable car for our drive to the rainforest.
Here we were met by Kelvin who was our rainforest tour guide. Kelvin was so knowledgable and the whole tour was magnificent. It was a real pleasure to be guided by someone who knew so much - we were even treated to fresh almonds, straight from the pod!
Afterwards, we were taken to a small bar where we had tasty complimentary snacks and a drink, before being driven back to the cruise port in PLENTY of time to re-board the ship before it left the island. A wonderful excursion.
If we are ever lucky enough to be back in St Kitts, we will use Island Paradise Tours again for sure!

We loved our hike with Kelvin. So knowledgeable and such a lovely man. Island Paradise very efficient especially pick up at cruise ship included in price of tour.
