If so you cannot leave la Axarquia without tasting the best raisins in the world. Rasins from muscatel grapes in la Axarquía are characterised by its great size and its intense sweetness. It is an exquisit, healthy nourish listed as Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System by FAO. We give you the opportunity to go deep into the inland villages of la Axarquia and get to know first hand all the secrets of this delicious nourish. Our first stop will be an Andalusian Cortijo with breath-taking views and a traditional raisin production system, where you will see for yourself how are they made and will meet a local family that does the production of raisins for a living. They will show you all the tools they need in order to do their job and of course you will try their sweet product!Duration: 1 hourStop At: Almachar, Almachar, Costa del Sol, Province of Malaga, AndaluciaNext stop will be Almáchar, capital of the muscatel grape and an important stop on our route. We will visit their beautiful streets and of course the Museo de la Pasa (Museum of the Raisin), where we will learn a bit more about this product and will see old tools that were used to pick them, the Museum is based in a typical old house of La Axarquía, so you will se how the people used to live in this area. Duration: 1 hourStop At: El Borge, El Borge, Province of Malaga, AndaluciaAfter the visit in Almachar we will drive you to El Borge, in the very heart of the raisin route. We will take a walking tour on their beautiful streets, where we will find a lot of references of this kind of cultivation, main economic sustenance of this village. Here you will enjoy a delicious lunch in a very special place, the Museum of the Bandits. It used to be the house of the bandolero El Bizco from el Borge and nowadays is one of the best restaurants in the area.Duration: 1 hour 40 minutesStop At: Moclinejo, Moclinejo, Province of Malaga, AndaluciaLastly we will drive you to Moclinejo, a humble, small village surrounded by mountains where we will do a short walking tour to see the most important monuments and you will learn about its history with our official guide.You will travel in a small group with maximal 8 people, no hurry and no stress, just have a nice day learning about about our culture and traditions.Duration: 30 minutes

Der Ausflug in die Rosinendörfer ist der Hammer. Für Besucher mit Interesse für andalusische Kultur und Tradition ein muss. Cipriano ist ein sehr professioneller Guide, und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir können diese Tour unbedingt empfehlen! Der Tag ist sehr gut organisiert, der Reiseleiter von Oletrips sehr freundlich und die Informationen wirklich interessant. Der Besuch bei einem Bauern auf dem Land, der mit viel Mühe und Liebe zur Tradition die Rosinen herstellt, war schon etwas besonderes. Wie immer sorgte Oletrips für ein tolles Erlebnis! Ein abwechslungsreicher Tag mit gutem Essen, der lange in guter Erinnerung bleiben wird.

Eine tolle Tour auf abenteuerlichen Pfaden. Die Tour ist sehr informativ und wird durch ein leckeres Essen in einem Hotel mit besonderer Geschichte gekrönt. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Esta ruta es ideal para conocer la tradición de la uva pasa moscatel en la zona. Visitamos un cortijo típico con toldos paseros, donde sus dueños y Cipriano, nuestro guía, nos enseñaron cómo se obtiene la pasa moscatel desde su recogida hasta que el producto está listo. También nos llevó a dos pueblos del interior de la comarca de la Axarquía que aún mantienen esta tradición y muchos de sus habitantes se dedican a ella. Sin duda una ruta ideal si quieres conocer en profundidad las costumbres de esta comarca. Cipriano es un guía excepcional y tiene unos conocimientos muy profundos de la historia y tradiciones de su tierra, se nota que siente pasión por ella. Sin duda repetiremos.

Quizás toda la explicación sobre las pasas y su cultivo. Me pareció muy interesante. La visita al pueblo de Borge fué muy instructiva. Y sobre todo el cariño con que Cipriano trata a sus clientes.
