Traveler Reviews

Watching the baby elephant play was fascinating. Interacting with the local people was very interesting and completely authentic and unusual. Tip: wear decent climbing shoes and be prepared to climb in high altitude. Not for the out of shape tourist. A half day tour would also be fine.

Picked up at 8am about 1hr30 travel in truck up the mountain. Guides and driver where great. Only 6 people altogether in our group 10 people maximum Fed the baby elephant first who was 5months old, then went into feed the other 3 elephants which was great. Walked down to the water fall which you can go in for a bit back to the camp for amazing food cooked by them, put mud on the elephants then washed them, was shown how to make the medicine for the elephants walked back through the village to the truck. Was great day can tell the day elephants where looked after well people where great, food was amazing. Highly recommend

Wow! They really are awe inspiring creatures face to face! Gorgeous little Natalie stole both our hearts, though my partner was braver with the big elephants than me. Amazing day, and lovely people who showed us around the village and made us lunch. Delicious!
