The tour was not at all what we expected. Nothing was explained properly prior to our trip. There were things that were important that we should have known such as: you have to be in good physical conditions, you must have closed toe shoes, and you could only take belongings in a backpack. The horseback riding section to reach the Limon waterfall was also not as expected. The horses were malnourished to the point of abuse/cruelty. The terrain was also dangerous and according to our tour guide, the nature reserve does not allow any changes to be made to make the trail safer. There were many deep holes, it was extremely rocky, it was very muddy, and very slippery causing many visitors to fall. The horse riding section of the tour was ran by volunteers and they were not equip for medical emergencies. In order to reach the waterfall you need to walk down 280 steps and back up 280 steps which was a far more strenuous walk than expected.  Persons that have any medical conditions such as card
