I just got back from Costa Rica and my son and I did this tour with A&E Tours. If I could give this tour 10 stars I would because 5 stars doesn't even come close. This was simply amazing. My experience began a few days before my trip when I communicated with the owner Yohann via Whatsapp. I let him know that I would not be staying at a hotel and asked if they could pick me up at a private home and he said it was not a problem. He took time to talk to me, never once rushing me and thoroughly answering every one of my questions. Then the day came for the trip, I was promptly picked up at the time I was told and that is where our adventure began. Every single place on the itinerary was outstanding and beautiful. The food we ate was excellent and the hotels where we slept, while not large chains, were great local hotels which allowed you to immerse yourself even more in the culture. Our 1st booking was cancelled because the arenal route was closed but this company was willingly to replace Arenal volcano activity to Poas volcano and La Paz waterfall activity. They were very communicative via whatsapp and we were really having a good time the entire trip. Our Tour Guide, Yancy Ramirez, was really informative, helpful, and client-oriented. We were lucky to had her as our guide, she was very friendly, nice, and accomodating. She helped my boyfriend with getting lemon soda when he had upset stomach and we were able to get a "fast pass" and skip the line when we did zip lining activities. She is the best!!
Will definitely book future trips with this company. Highly recommended!!
